The minister told the participants tell their family and friends to support the ministry and thromde to raise the plants by not up-rooting and walking over the saplings.

The ministry officially handed over the saplings to the thromde after plantation.

Thimphu Thrompon Kinlay Dorjee said that although thromde had planned and attempted to plant saplings along expressway divider, it was not successful because thromde lacked manpower and resources.
