Chukha’s election office received 2,735 postal ballots, which translates to 75 percent turnout considering a registration of 3,616 postal ballots.

Election officials counted the postal ballots yesterday.

The number of total ballots accepted and rejected would be announced today.

Chukha is all set for the National Council (NC) elections poll day today.

There are 71 polling stations in total across Chukha.

Darla (Tala) has 12 polling stations, the highest in the dzongkhag. Maetedkha, Bjachhog, and Getena gewogs have three stations each, the lowest among the gewogs.

All the presiding officers have reached their respective stations.

A total of 24,644 voters in Chukha have registered to vote.
