A 36-year old driver died on the way to Mongar hospital when the truck he was driving veered off the gewog centre road in Kengkhar, Mongar, on the night of January 31.

The truck veered off 100ms below the road.

The driver was alone and the truck was carrying ration supplies from Monggar FCB depot to be delivered to the schools in Kengkhar and Jurmed gewogs at the time of the accident.

Sources said the accident occurred around 10:30pm at Yudiri, the road junction of Kengkhar and Jurmey gewog from Zimzorong.

The deceased was from Drametse, Mongar.
