Bhutan sees sharp drop in convictions in 2025, says Home Minister

While Home Minister Tshering declined to reveal the exact conviction rate at present in the country, the minister said the number of individuals convicted for various offences in 2025 is 1,504, which has decreased by 23.88 per cent (a drop of 472 cases) compared to 1,976 individuals convicted in 2024.
