The third Bhutan-India Development Cooperation talk for the 12th Five Year Plan (FYP) was held virtually yesterday.

Both the countries reviewed the progress of the projects supported by the Indian government in the 12th Plan and also approved some new projects. Some of the projects were reprioritised because their implementation was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The meeting also discussed the progress of important projects that were being implemented outside the 12th FYP.

Led by the foreign secretary, Kinga Singye, the Bhutanese delegation expressed appreciation to the people and Government of India for their continued support and cooperation extended to Bhutan during the pandemic.
