Bhutan is attending the Assemblies of the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), 58 Series of Meetings at Geneva from September 24 to October 02.

Economic affairs secretary Dasho Yeshi Wangdi is leading the delegation. The delegation made a statement at the General Assembly on September 25 underscoring the importance of the ongoing efforts to develop the intellectual property administration system in the country, a press release from the department of intellectual property states.

While in Geneva, the delegation will call on the Director General of the WIPO Dr. Francis Gurry and also meet with the other key officials of WIPO to further strengthen the excellent development cooperation activities and programmes.
