The Royal Bhutanese Embassy in Kuwait hosted a reception at Elite Crystal Hotel, Manama for the Bhutanese community working in Bahrain to jointly celebrate His Majesty The King’s 38th birth anniversary and the Losar of the Earth Male Dog Year on February 19.

Ambassador Tshering Gyaltshen Penjor briefed the gathering on the significance of the occasion, RemitBhutan, and importance of forming Bhutanese association, among others.

On February 21, the embassy hosted a reception and cultural programme at the Grand Excelsior Hotel, Deira for the Bhutanese community working in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to celebrate His Majesty The King’s 38th birth anniversary.

Ambassador Tshering Gyaltshen Penjor briefed the gathering on the significance of the occasion and inaugurated the Bhutanese Association of UAE.

The five member artists of the Bhutanese Film Association entertained the gathering with various cultural items. More than 400 Bhutanese participated in the celebration.
