Bhutan recorded five new bird species within the period of five months. With the addition of Little Tern (Sternula albifrons) on May 4, the country’s bird count stands at 743.

Senior foresters Sangay Nidup and Tashi Phuntsho sighted Little Tern along the Punatsangchhu bank.
