BKP declares two more candidates

BKP introduced two more candidates during its presidential tour in the eastern dzongkhags.

The party introduced Sonam Choiten to contest from Mongar constituency on June 16. He has a Bachelors degree in Computer Applications and worked as a process executive in Infosys Private Limited in Bangalore for five years. The party also opened its dzongkhag office in Mongar.

On June 15, the party declared Tshering Wangchen to contest from Dremetse-Ngatsang constituency, Mongar. He has a BA honours in Dzongkha from Sherubtse College and worked for eight years as a school administrator in Thimphu, Trongsa and Zhemgang. He later worked with the GNH Center for two years and another two years with Chithuen Phendhey Association. While in Sherubtse College, he received the prestigious Jigme Dorji Wangchuck gold medal for academic excellence.

The party has to date declared 16 candidates.
