Bhutan Kuen-Nyam Party yesterday announced on the party’s facebook page candidates for Menbi-Tshenkhar and Tsirangtoe-Sergithang constituencies.

Carrying 14 years of experiences and having served as an executive engineer with the Department of Roads, 40-year-old Sherub Phuntsho will contest from Menbi-Tshenkhar constituency in Lhuentse.

A father of two, Sherub Phuntsho served as executive engineer in Sarpang, Trashigang, Lhuntse, and Punakha. He holds a Masters in Civil Engineering (Transportation) from Asian institute of Technology in Thailand. He was also involved in the construction of Tashithang-Gasa and the Shingkhar-Gorgaon roads.

Former senior news editor and researcher with the Bhutan Broadcasting Service, Dhambar Kumar Ghimiray, will contest from Tsirangtoe-Patali constituency in Tsirang. Dhambar Kumar could not make it through the recent National Council nomination process.

Dhambar last served as a media consultant for uniqS consultancy. He holds a Masters in Communication and Arts.
