Update: The search for two missing bodies of a five-year-old girl and a 35 year-old man, who died in the bolero accident, was called off two days after the accident.

The 35-year-old is the Trashigang nyagoe, Kezang Wangchuk.  Although police had planned to carry out another search from Riju to Chazam yesterday, Kezang Wangchuk’s family members asked them to discontinue the search after they consulted an astrologer.

Some villagers from Samkhar still continued to search for the bodies until Sherichu in Mongar yesterday.

Six people were killed on May 17, when a Bolero they were travelling in veered off the road and fell about 1,000 feet into river Gamri.  Police and some volunteers searched for the two missing bodies until Rolong on May 18.

Of the seven passengers, a woman survived the accident and is reported to be in a stable condition at the regional referral hospital in Mongar.

Police suspect that the driver was inexperienced, as he had no driving license.

Trashigang police have alerted police in Mongar and villagers of Kengkhar to inform them should they spot any bodies.  Three bodies, a lam from Samcholing goenpa, a yenlag lobdra lopen and a tshampa were cremated yesterday.
