The body of a 21-year old woman, which was washed away by the Punatshangchu River in Samthang around 11:30am yesterday, was recovered about a kilometer downstream from Bajothangu village in the evening. The incident occurred while she was washing her clothes by the river. She is a daughter of one of the carpenters working at the Wangdue dzong reconstruction project.
