While the Mongar dzongkhag tshogdu (DT) last year proposed to start a central school for the two gewogs of Chali and Tsakaling, dzongkhag education officials say they do not have the authority and budget to open it.

DT members say that a school for the two gewogs would also benefit students from Tsamang gewog.
