Covid-19 has affected the big and famous too.

Chelsea’s left-winger, Callum Hudson-Odoi, has recovered. He has so far scored eight goals and made 10 assists in 53 appearances for the blues in the English Premier league.

Arsenal Manager, Mikel Arteta, who tested positive on March 12 has also recovered.  Mikel Arteta is from Spain.

National Basketball Association (NBA) stars Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell have also recovered from Covid-19.  Both of them are players of Utah Jazz club.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, has recovered. Justin Trudeau, however, is still observing self-imposed isolation.

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez tested positive for coronavirus two weeks ago but he has now recovered.

Australian Home Affairs Minister, Peter Dutton, announced on March 13 that he had tested positive and in a hospital in the northeastern state of Queensland. He was discharged from the hospital and currently in quarantine at his Queensland home.

The British government announced that the country’s Junior Health Minister, Nadine Dorries, recovered last week.

In Asia, Iran is facing severe problem due to raging pandemic. Several senior officials have contracted the virus, including first Vice-president Eshaq Jahangiri and the vice-president for Women and Family Affairs Masoumeh Ebtekar. But both of them have recovered.

However, Seyed Mohammad Mirmohammadi, a senior Iranian official, passed away in a Tehran hospital,

Oscar winner Tom Hanks announced earlier this month that he and his wife Rita Wilson both tested positive for Covid-19. Both have recuperated.

Some Serie A and Laliga players are still battling the pandemic.

Daniele Rugani is the first Juventus players to test positive and had recovered. But a 32-year-old Juventus midfielder, Blaise Matuidi, has been in isolation since March 11. He is the second of Juve players to test positive after Daniele Rugani.

A player from Fiorentina and five from Sampdoria have also contracted the virus.

Valencia and Argentina defender Ezequiel Garay was the first La Liga player to declare a positive test for Covid-19. Five Valencia FC players have tested positive so far.

The French Culture Minister Franck Riester tested positive and, in Italy, the leader of the Italian Democratic Party, Nicola Zingaretti, tested positive.

In Spain, the country’s Minister of Equality, Irene Montero, tested positive for COVID-19 and her partner, Second Deputy Prime Minister Pablo Iglesias, is quarantined.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also tested positive for Covid-19.
