As part of 50 years of India Bhutan friendship celebrations, the Nehru-Wangchuck Cultural Centre is organising a Cultural evening on “Music and Dances of North East India” at the RUB’s Convention hall on February 24.

The colourful and vibrant culture of North East India will be articulated through the Bamboo Dance of Mizoram, Folk and Martial Arts of Manipur, Bihu dance of Assam, Indigenous music of the Nagas, Acrobatic Hozagiri Dance of Tripura, Snow Lion Dance of Arunachal Pradesh, and the Drums Ensemble of Meghalaya.

The programme will conclude with a medley of dance and music of North East India called Colours of North East India.
