Obituary: Dasho Pema Wangchuk, 77, passed away on November 17. Dasho was conferred red scarf in 1972 by His Majesty the Third King.

Dasho Pema Wangchuk started his career as an assistant transport officer in 1962. Later, Dasho served in various capacities in the then Department of Agriculture and Survey.

He had been serving as the secretary of International Boundaries.

In 2008, His Majesty The King awarded Dasho Pema Wangchuk, the international boundaries secretary Druk Thuksey for his long, consistent and fruitful service that he had served with sincerity, dedication and humility.
