Basketball: The women’s national basketball team picked up their first international win by defeating Bangladesh 61-29 at the first South Asian Basketball Championship (SABA) in Kathmandu, Nepal on April 1.

Of the four games the team played during the competition, the team lost three. This is the first international win for the country’s basketball team.

In the finals, Sri Lanka defeated the host team of Nepal 73- 49 to win the title at the championship.
