Team Gedu College won the finals of the Special Reserve Police Force (SRPF) open football tournament on July 14 beating Mega XI.The winners bagged Nu 50,000 while the runners up won Nu 30,000. A total of 10 teams participated in the tournament. The tournament kicked off on May 27 to commemorate the 50 years of diplomatic relation between Bhutan and India. The tournament was also initiated to promote police-public relation. The tournament was organised by SRPF, Tashigatshel, Chukha and Ngoedrup Tse Sports Association of Chhukha. Ice Beverages Private Limited, Samtse, sponsored the refreshments for the tournament.
