AHA Oxy Gases Private Limited in Pasakha, Chukha will supply Acetylene and Oxygen to Project DANTAK for its construction works. The two organisations signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) yesterday in Thimphu.

Acetylene and Oxygen are used as fuel for welding, cutting, and allied processes in construction.

According to a press release from DANTAK, the MoU is to “encourage the growth of local businesses allowing them to directly participate in the development of Bhutan.”

Project DANTAK also signed similar MoUs with other private companies in Bhutan for supply of cement and steel.

Chief Engineer of Project DANTAK, Brigadier Jaswinder Singh, said that these MoUs are designed to promote local industries contributing to the country’s development. “By partnering with local business, Project DANTAK hopes to create a conducive environment for growth and prosperity.”
