The Embassy of India handed over cheques worth Nu 308.44 million for GoI Project Tied Assistance projects the GNH Commission (GNHC) yesterday.

First Secretary (Economic and Commerce), S Koventhan handed over the cheque to GNHC director Rinchen Wangdi.

A press release from GNHC states that the release of funds pertains to the construction of Royal Institute of Law and augmentation of TTI-Dekiling to Power Training Institute.“This is the first release of bridge financing for PTA projects made by Government of India and will be part of GoI’s assistance for the 12th Five Year Plan of RGoB.”
