After Trongsa, the prime minister and finance minister visited Haa recently

Meetings: To meet, discuss and get feedbacks from people living at the grassroots on the plans and policies of the government, the government will be visiting all 205 gewogs in the coming months.

Last month, Lyonchoen visited four Gewogs – Tangsibji  Drakten Langthel and Tangsibji  in Trongsa.

From August 2 – 4, Lyonchoen Tshering Tobgay, accompanied by the finance minister Namgay Dorji was in Haa visiting four gewogs of Bji, Katsho, Samar and Eusu. Lyonpo Namgay was in Haa for a ‘budget sensitisation’ meeting.

Lyonchoen reminded the people on the importance of the nation celebrating the 60th Birth Anniversary of the Fourth Druk Gyalpo and informed them about the total budget layout for different activities for the financial year 2015-16.

Maintaining water source, pipelines and electric fences fall onto the beneficiaries living in the locality, Lyonchoen said.

“If there is no water, then it is the people who will suffer, and if the electric fences are covered in weed, the fences will not serve its purpose. Take ownership and do regular maintenance work,” Lyonchoen said.

Lyonchhen also urged the people to make use of the Gewog Banking Service at the Community Centers.

Lyonchhen spoke about health and hygiene, on about the importance of education and agriculture.
