His Majesty The King met with the Prime Minister of India, His Excellency Narendra Modi in Delhi yesterday.

The Prime Minster of India warmly received His Majesty at his official residence, where discussions were held on a range of topics of mutual interest to Bhutan and India. His Excellency then hosted a dinner in honour of His Majesty The King.

While in Delhi, His Majesty met with the members of the Bhutan Friendship Association (IBFA), and the Delhi Study Group, an NGO that works to promote diplomacy through people to people contacts. His Majesty also met several prominent business leaders in Delhi. His Majesty The King is on a weeklong official visit to India, during which His Majesty visited Assam and Delhi.
