His Majesty The King arrived in Dewathang after having trekked from Chokhorling yesterday evening. His Majesty met with all the shopkeepers and residents of Nganglam town yesterday morning before travelling to Chokorling. His Majesty visited the villages along the way and met with the people. On January 24, His Majesty granted an Audience to officers and soldiers of the Royal Bhutan Army and then visited homes in the RBA Camp family line at Nganglam. His Majesty also visited the border checkpost, Cheda Jamtsho’s farm in Tshelshingzor, and Norbugang Lhakhang. His Majesty will celebrate Chunyipai Losar with the people of Samdrupjongkhar.
