His Majesty The King celebrated Daw Chunyipai Losar with the Royal Bhutan Army personnel and their families in Dewathang. 

Daw Chunyipai Losar is the first day on the 12th month of the Bhutanese Lunar calendar, and celebrated as the start of a new year in Eastern Bhutan.

His Majesty The King is on a tour of the south and east to inspect sites proposed for Gyalsung training centres. His Majesty is accompanied by HRH Gyaltshab Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, His Majesty’s representative for Eastern Bhutan.
