One aspect you like and dislike in the ongoing election process? 

Dislike:  Communication barrier in common forums especially in the southern region. With most people attending common forums not understanding Dzongkha, it was one of the most challenging tasks for me. This is something we need to discuss.

Like: Proactive and supportive election officers: My heartfelt thanks and respects to all the election officers who served with utmost professionalism, decency and humility.

What according to you is the biggest challenge for the country?

The biggest challenge is maintaining national security, peace and harmony. This is dependent on the citizens of the country, and so development of humane capacity is also a challenge.

I am one of you. I have lived your problems, and so I can empathize with your problems. I am a man of action and reflection, seeking continued improvement of the self.

My experiences speak of the diversity of my responsibilities and success.

The first thing you will do if you win

Form a strong team of developmental experts consisting of local government officials, thromde, public, bureaucrats, politicians, national council members, business communities, and other important stakeholders to chart out the development plan for my constituency.

I could keep my contacts with the people, keep track of events in the election process, and get critical feedback on my actions and voice out my concerns. For me, social media is a boon.

Your priority for the constituency 

Proper road connectivity.

Water for every household.

Proper maintenance of existing ORC and BHU and availability of doctors, health assistants and nurses and an ambulance in each BHU.

Proper marketing for agriculture products.

Youth development programs such as a loan for every level of classes at low-interest rate and provide training for development in rural areas.

Preservation and promotion of our culture and traditional values such as the construction of a new Lhakhang and Mandir.

One aspect you like and dislike in the ongoing election process? 

I am blessed to meet all the people from every village and gewogs of my constituency perhaps. I am hoping to spend quality time again in future.

What according to you is the biggest challenge for the country?

The biggest challenge is youth unemployment problems.

I request the people to choose the right person and I am confident that I can be one. Having worked for eight years as an educated farmer, I recognise the needs and wants of rural development.

Construct a well-connected road is the first service I would like to provide.

Narrowing the gap now than later.

Like: State providing Nu 300,000 to candidates means candidates from poor background can participate.

What according to you is the biggest challenge for the country?

Unemployment. Food security. Rural-urban migration.

I am from a humble background and community. I understand the problems better.

Started from a small job and is today participating in elections.

I want to serve the Tsawa-sum keeping in mind the sovereignty. I will help in agriculture.

The first thing you will do if you win

I will start working for roads improvement, drinking water, irrigation, and agricultural marketing.

Both. It is easy to campaign, distribute manifesto and inform the people.

But it is easy means to defame others.
