Your priority for the constituency. 

Drinking and irrigation water is a priority, as it is a basic need of rural life and people of my constituency are suffering. Base course all farm roads since most farm roads are not pliable for all seasons. Sanam gongphel to uplift livelihood of the people.

Focus on youth engagement in agriculture and other enterprises. 

One aspect you like and dislike in the ongoing election process? 

Party tshogpas misleading rural folks.

What according to you is the biggest challenge for the country?

Youth unemployment.

I am a walk the talk person.

I worked in my constituency.

Take basic diagnostic services to far-flung gewogs and chiwogs, immediately work on addressing drinking and irrigation water scarcity.

I am less active on social media but I feel it is both boon and bane.

Humble, sincere and serious.

Your priority for the constituency. 

Road connectivity is my top priority. Some villages remain to be connected with road and some roads have to be blacktopped.  Adequate water supply problem also has to be addressed.

One aspect you like and dislike in the ongoing election process? 

This election has been full of surprises and this is what I liked. Rampant false news about our party in social media is what I dislike.

What according to you is the biggest challenge for the country?

I think the biggest challenge for us is to put back our economy on track.

If people are looking for a young, dynamic and humble person as their representative in the parliament, they must vote for me.

The first thing you will do if you win.

Since I have not given a thought about the results of this election, I cannot tell what I will do.

Social media is a boon as long as it is used properly. Otherwise, it is a bane.

Describe yourself in three words.

A humble farmer’s son who has tackled the challenges of life to offer a hope to younger generations of same family background.

Your priority for the constituency. 

Make all roads in the demkhong use-able for all seasons, build more roads, boom agriculture production and enhance tourism. A better connection of communities to gewog services. Choethrom (Trongsa town) will be developed into a sports, recreation and tourism based town. Water for all and improved health services in line with the national pledges. All choedey, goendeys, community lhakhangs and old age services will be provided in social services.

One aspect you like and dislike in the ongoing election process? 

I am comfortable and happy with the ongoing election processes.

What according to you is the biggest challenge for the country?

Climate change impacts, which is already visible in my demkhong is a concern for agriculture systems and water supply sustainability of the country. Bhutan being landlocked, mountain ecosystems and a LDC stand highly vulnerable to climate change impacts.

People of Nubi-Tangsibji has no choice but to elect me for:

I am one of them. Born, married and settled here 

I am a Sustainable Development Engineer, the right person for people’s development need in the demkhong and the country.

My 31 years of work experience in project formulation, resource mobilisation and implementation on the ground is an asset for Nubi- Tangsibji society and the Bhutanese people at large.

Consult with my people to incorporate their needs in the 12th FYP.

Few individual’s attempts to defame me with mp3s in social media have enhanced my popularity. I am happy with social media.

Passionate, hardworking and vocal.

Your priority for the constituency. 

Blacktop or base-course all the existing roads and ensure that vehicles can commute on it throughout the year.

One aspect you like and dislike in the ongoing election process? 

I am very happy to know that our electorate is becoming wiser by each election.

I am saddened to see many instances of blatant violation of the election code of conduct by politicians to win, and more so, of putting our sovereignty and foreign policy at stake to get an edge in the race.

What according to you is the biggest challenge for the country?

Debt problem.

People should vote for me because I have the experience of serving in the parliament for two terms, DPT has a qualified and visionary leader in Pema Gyamtsho, and our party has the pledges that fulfill both short-term needs and long-term benefits.

Blacktop or base-course all the roads in the constituency and make those all-seasoned commutable roads.

It is both, particularly during the election period.
