Police, desuups, locals and monks of Trongsa dratsang are searching for a 60-year old lam from Tangsibji, who went missing from his residence in Yueling since January 19.

The case was reported to the police on the night of January 23.

While checking the CCTV footage, it was found that the lam was leaving for a ritual in a nearby village on the morning of January 19 and returning in the evening.

He was found missing on January 23 after he did not turn to conduct a ritual.

Police sources said everything was found normal in his residence and the lam left his phone charging in his residence. The door was locked from outside.

They said CCTV footage was not clear at nights from January 19 to January 23 to due to unclear weather.
