Former Lawyer of Bhutan Law Chamber, Jamyang Loday, has declared his intention to stand as National Council (NC) candidate from Mongar.
From Takhambi village in Tsakaling, Jamyang Loday retired as Managing Advocate.
He graduated with Bachelor of Socio Legal Sciences Bachelor of Laws (BSL LLB) from Pune, India in 2012. He has a Postgraduate Diploma in National Law from Royal Institute of Management.
Jamyang Loday said that having interacted with the people and lawmakers, he is confident that he can make a difference as NC member.
“Every citizen has a duty to take forward the gift of democracy,” said Jamyang Loday.
He believes that as a lawyer with experience he can become a good lawmaker.
He is currently on familiarisation tour and has covered 10 gewogs.
