Hazard: Just a few days after a student was killed by lightning in Samdrupjongkhar, a 22-year-old truck handy man died yesterday in Gomtu after also being struck by lightning. The incident occurred at around 1pm at the Jigme mining site in Pagli, Gomtu, Samtse .

The deceased was brought dead to the hospital.

Every year lightning causes casualties and fatalities among both people or livestock animals in Samtse.
