If the locally manufactured bricks do not match up to the quality of imported ones, the government is in no position to arbitrate the market, the Prime Minister said.

This was in response to petition submitted by some 31 concrete brick manufacturers in the country asking the government to reinforce the former Cabinet’s executive order asking government agencies to procure locally manufactured bricks instead of imported ones.
