The people are yet to understand what these things mean. The toll-free number 1010 get questions from related to these arrangements every day.

As of 5:30pm yesterday, 4,625 people had called the number.

A total of 59 De-suups are coordinating the arrangements, assisted by thirteen officials from the Office of the Gyalpoi Zimpon, Office of Performance Management under His Majesty’s Secretariat, and Natural Resources Development Corporation Limited.

“People mostly call about the movement card and vegetable supply,” an official said.

The call data has been compiled and forwarded to zoning task force team.

The people can call the toll-free number between 8am to 8pm.

Sangay Penjor, a De-suup, said that the people were confused. “There is a communication gap. We are trying to better the system. Service provision can take time.”

Tashi Lhamo, also a De-suup, said that the people were frustrated and impatient.
