When the suspect went towards the kitchen to draw a knife she rushed outside.  Bolted the door from outside. She then immediately reported the case to the police at around 5.30am.

On reaching the scence police found that the victim was hit with a stone that was recovered near the victim.  When the girl latched the door from outside, the suspect had escaped from another space.

Police found the victim with severe injuries. He was immediately rushed to the Gelephu hospital in critical condition.
