A 23-year-old man succumbed to stab wounds on January 15 at the Phuentsholing hospital.

The man was brought to the hospital between 7pm and 8pm after he was found lying on the road at the Torsa bypass near the new truck parking area.

Police had picked up the man after being informed by pedestrians. When the man was brought to the hospital, he had multiple injuries on his chest and back.

According to police sources, the deceased, a taxi driver was a Gomtu resident. The family members were informed the next day. Police are currently investigating the case.
