The University of Canberra and the Royal Institute of Management (RIM) renewed the Deed of Variation for Master’s programme between the University and RIM on yesterday.
Labour minister Ngeema Sangay Tshempo, who is in Australia, signed the deed renewing the project until June 2017.
The project is related to Master’s programme, which was signed in June 2011 by a representative from the government, represented by the Gross National Happiness Commission Secretariat and Commonwealth of Australia, represented by Australian Agency for International Development Agency.
Lyonpo Ngeema Sangay Tshempo is the chairman of RIM board of directors and was on a three-day institutional visit to Australia. The labour minister also met with Students Association at Canberra. Two other officials accompanied the minister.
Lyonpo and his team will also visit other technical universities in Australia and Thailand to build institutional partnership.
