Wangdue police yesterday found the body of 18-year-old boy who went missing on October 2 evening from Khuruthang, Punakha.
The father of the boy filed a missing complaint to Punakha police on October 3.
The body of the boy was fished out from Punatsangchhu near the Construction Development Corporation Limited’s (CDCL) workshop at Hesothangka, Wangdue.
The police did not find any mark of injury on the body.
The boy was a class XI student of Punakha Central School (PCS).
Sources said that the boy was “not well” and the school management had called his parents asking them to refer him to a hospital.
The boy reportedly went missing when his father was inside a restaurant.
