The Ministry of Labour and Human Resources (MoLHR) and the Republic of Korea’s Human Resources Development Service (HRDK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, information, and best practices on human resources development on December 23.

The MoU is expected to help forecast and project skills needs, promote lifelong learning and competency development for small and medium enterprises with apprenticeship and skills competitions, and raise qualification and competency standards among the Bhutanese workforce.

Labour Secretary Tashi Wangmo and President of HRDK Dr Uh Soobong signed the MoU virtually. The MoU will come into effect immediately.
