Two Bhutanese men have died after the car they were travelling in met a fatal accident in Dalsingpara, Jaigaon at 9pm yesterday. 

There were five passengers, all men, including the driver when the accident happened. They were in an Indian registered Wagon R. The car hit a truck from behind. 

All the passengers were Bhutanese.

Two of them died on the spot and the other two were evacuated to Phuentsholing hospital. Two of the deceased were 30 and 32 years old. 




The 32-year-old deceased was driving the car, while the other was in the front seat. 

The other three are said to be in stable condition.

Phuentsholing police are doing everything to help, a source said. 

“All possible help is being extended and their relatives are informed. We are coordinating with Jaigaon Police for support and assistance.” 

Meanwhile, the probable cause of the accident is reportedly “speeding.”
