I do not know if anyone knows/remembers/keeps track of the fact that GOI deregulated diesel price from 18 October 2014. Now that international price of oil is taking reverse upward trend (brent crude is trading at $40.6/barrel from a low of $27.88/barrel on 20 Jan 2016), the diesel price in India will rise fast to fill the past subsidy void. Just hope it will not trigger inflation. Those who are interested may read my analysis at: http://sangpatamang.blogspot.com/2014/10/diesel-price-deregulation-in-india.html
