A fire incident razed three three-storey traditional houses in Yadi town, Mongar yesterday morning. Officials from the Office of the Gyaltshab in Gyalpoizhing and dzongkhag administration assessed the damage and made necessary arrangements for the victims. Firefighters and volunteers demolished a two-storey traditional house and a pan shop to prevent the fire from spreading to other structures. The landlords and six tenants lost all their belongings.
