Her Royal Highness Princess Eeuphelma Choden Wangchuck, the President of the Bhutan Paralympic Committee (BPC) awarded cash incentives to Para-Badminton player Sapuna Subba and coach Dorji yesterday. Sapuna brought home two bronze medals from the Asian Youth Para Games (AYPG) becoming the first-ever para-athlete to win a medal for Bhutan at an international competition. She participated in the Women’s Singles and Mixed Doubles in Para-Badminton short stature category. The AYPG was held from November 27 to December 8 in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Sapuna Subba is currently studying at Gesarling Central School in Dagana.
