A hut was razed to the ground in Chali, Mongar on March 23. The 77-year old destitute who lives alone at Yangtang Gonpa, Chali is a Druk Gyalpo’s kidu recipient.

Mongar dzongrab handed over kidu items including ration and bedding materials to the victim. Officials from the gewog administration, school and some villagers are building a new makeshift hut for him. Others gave him some clothes.
