To commemorate 400 years of the establishment of the Zhung Dratshang (Central Monastic Body) by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel, a week-long Zhabdrung Daknangmai Drubchhen is being conducted at the Dorden Tashithang University,  Dodeyna, in Thimphu.

Gyelsay Trulku Jigme Tenzin Wangpo, Laytshog Lopon Sangay Dorji, Tsugla Lopon Karma Rangdrol, Lam Netens, and 500 monks are presiding over the rituals, which began yesterday.
