Police, army, and local residents have been trying to retrieve the body of a 26-year-old man from Dalithang in Kana gewog who drowned three days ago in Dagachhu, Dagana. 

According to sources, the deceased, who came for paddy cultivation back from his workplace in Trongsa, went fishing along with a friend when he drowned. 

A source said that due to a whirlpool, it was difficult to carry out any operations. A team of police from the headquarters in Thimphu had reportedly reached the incident site yesterday.
