A statue of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, more than five feet tall, has been installed as one of the main relics of the newly constructed Wangduephodrang Dzong yesterday. Along with this statue another 1,000 smaller statues of Zhabdrung rinpoche, built by the Thousand Zhabdrung Statue Project, were also installed in the dzong.
