Bhutan defeated Timor Leste 3-1 in the last group match of the AFC Women’s Olympic Qualifiers in Tashkent, Uzbekistan yesterday. It was the second consecutive win for Bhutan after the 2-1 win against Jordan. The first half ended Namgay Dema’s goal from her header.   Skipper Pema Choden Tshering doubled the lead in the 67th minute and the opponent scored an own goal in the 75th minute. However, Timor Leste pulled back one in the dying minutes. However, Bhutan didn’t qualify for the next round of the tournament as the team stood second with six points.
