Fifteen professionals from the Bhutanese film industry attended a 12-day training at the KOICA ICC Center in Seoul, Republic of Korea earlier this month. The training aimed at enhancing the capacity of the Bhutan film industry was funded by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
Participants learnt combines theoretical and practical sessions from Korean film experts besides visiting universities and film studios.
KOICA has been supporting capacity building for the Bhutan film industry since 2018. To date, 52 film professionals have benefited from training programs covering various aspects of filmmaking. KOICA has also provided crucial support to the Bhutanese film industry by supplying filming equipment and offering technical assistance.
