Team Bhutan comprising five  students of Dr  Tobgyal School in Thimphu began their maiden World School Team Chess Tournament  yesterday  in Kazakhstan on a promising note. Two matches were played on yesterday. After a 4-0 loss against Mongolia, Bhutan managed a 2-2 draw against Egypt, which is one of the strong teams in the world. Bhutan’s captain Lhundrup M Dorji, and Tshering T Wangdi played a crucial role.
