- Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay met with Ambassador of Singapore to Bhutan, Lim Thuan Kuan, at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang today. The ambassador informed Lyonchoen that he had come to Bhutan to expand areas of cooporation. Lyonchoen thanked the ambassador for the interest and the opportunity and said that he looks at Singapore with a great deal of admiration and has high regards for the country and its system. The ambassador also informed Lyonchoen that Bhutan has many friends in Singapore. “This is all because of His Majesty The King,” Lyonchoen said. The ambassador expressed high appreciation to His Majesty The King for gracing the funeral of Late Lee Kuan Yew.
