- A 25-year-old final year student of Samtse College of Education is recovering at Guwahati hospital after the bolero pick-up she was travelling in met with an accident at Kokrajhar, Assam, India on June 15. The 30-year-old driver, a businessman from Bjoka in Zhemgang, sustained internal bleeding and died later at MRM hospital in Assam. During the time of the accident, the vehicle was heading towards Nganglam from Phuntsholing. On the same day, a Bhutanese alto car was reported to have hit an Indian bike in Kachugaon in Kokrajhar, Assam. The 31-year-old driver who is a civil servant was arrested and the biker was evacuated to a nearby hospital.
