His Majesty The King with the 20th batch of volunteers who completed the DeSuung Integrated Training Programme. In an Audience to the 125 men and women who participated in the two-week programme, His Majesty shared the vision of DeSuung as well as of the country, and the role that DeSuups would play towards realising them.  With the completion of the 20th batch training, which was tailor-made for medical and other professionals working in fields related to disaster management, there are now 2,389 DeSuups in the country. The DeSuung Programme was initiated upon Royal Command in 2011, and the first batch trained in February that year.
